I like this design! My only recommendation is to change the color of the fonts, as it does clash with the design a little. I also think you should align the inner square with the outer one. Other than that, it looks great!

I created this logo for Dallas Coffeehouse. Unfortunately, I cannot find the brief, but the brief called to create a logo with a combination mark.
