Freshly Dropped is a food service that delivers freshly picked meal boxes for its clients to prepare at home. They now want to expand their repertoire of services by having a recipe app. The objective of the project was to design the mobile app interface where recipes can be found, favourited and ingredient lists saved for later use.

In order to gain experience and continue doing projects for my portfolio, I went to Fakeclients.com where I saw this brief for a fresh food delivery app, Freshly Dropped.

The brief was very simple: the creation of a home where the end user could scroll through the recipes, a menu at the base from which it was possible to scroll through the various sections, specifying "like Instagram". This included Home and Favourites. The app was also to contain an 'About Us' section.

The 'brand' wanted to expand into the area of apps for sharing healthy recipes, and wanted to give people the option of downloading the recipes with the various ingredients and then going to get everything they needed, or ordering one of their boxes, with all the ingredients to make the recipes.

A filter system was also required. I decided to divide it into three sections: diet, budget and type of dish (first course, second course, dessert...). By using filters, the user's needs can be detected more quickly by the application.

The design was made using Invision and mockups in Photoshop. The icons were made by Freepick as well as the mockups.

I try to create application design for freshly dropped to add my portofolio project. On the homepage, users can be able to just scroll through recipes that they might find interesting. It can be grouped by type of dishes, such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, or etc. Users can search by ingridient or recipe with a filter include or exclude ingredients they want. If they are interested with the recipe, it can be added to their favourite list. On the detailed recipe, user can add it to cart and order to freshly dropped. For the color, it uses some shade of light green as requested.
