Really cool - maybe keep the weight the same to improve consistency?

This design is going well! You are starting to round the edges and add some elements to dissect the letters, keep in mind the client said he likes pictorial marks. We don't know what the company is(it's fake anyway), so you can make up one and give it a personality. Then you can start playing with only using images to create the logo :)
