What is making it feel 90's to you? It's supposed to just have a feel of the 70's as that's the fancy dress theme but I'm not sure if you hate it or not? Thanks for the feedback anyway I guess

I understand with how small the image is that maybe it's not visually rendered exactly as planned and I did try to stick to the colours the client requested butt I appreciate the feedback.

I like the idea of the donut as the o but maybe try and make the size more in line with the other letters and adjust the kerning a little. Cute start though!

I understand what you're saying. I was aiming for a more refined and premium feel, but I can see how the cooler palette could read as more corporate or industrial rather than family-oriented as I prioritised elegance over warmth. I'll take what you've said into consideration, thank you.

For this poster I wanted to create a bold and playful design that clearly reflected the 70s roller skating theme from the brief and I used a warm retro colour palette to give it an energetic vintage feel.

Lovely poster! I really like the overall design. One suggestion I have is to rethink the layout of the information in the bottom half of the poster. Instead of placing the website in the middle, you could move it to the bottom and bring the date up so it's more prominent. You could also experiment with the colors you've already used. For example, changing the color of the date or the prize information so it stands out more and draws the viewer's attention. :D

For this brief, I wanted to create a more modern and premium sports identity. The logo combines square geometry with flowing wave-like lines to reflect both structure and movement, linking directly to the brand name, and I used a dark black card stock with deep red detailing to give the design a more luxurious performance feel, rather than a typical bright sports aesthetic.

i really like the layout of the logo and the details of the account. however, it's a little hard to read the details due to the shade of red on a black background.

I see the concept you were going for, but unfortunately, the red text on a dark black background doesn't pair well and makes the design difficult to read. I would suggest using blue and white as the primary colors, with red reserved as an accent color to highlight key elements. This would improve readability while still maintaining a strong visual impact.
