It's very simple. For the catering logo I think it's very sufficient, it will look cute.

Created a Logo for a new business called meez. for DJing service.
I think the last logo with the earphones in the solid letters is the strongest. The second one with the wave design in back of the letters is clever although I'm not crazy about the font (the Z looks like a backwards S).

Mexican Pastries

Here's my first go at a logo, my task was to create a logo for Spider, a brand that makes and distributes Mexican pastries.
i think youre well on your way to a super great logo! I think its important to have the brand name, not just the letter as that could cause confusion. Mexican Pastries should not be split up on top and bottom I think its causing a disconnection where there doesn't need to be one. I love the little pastrie icons, maybe focus more on those and get the wording correct but highlight the actual icons?
