i think youre well on your way to a super great logo! I think its important to have the brand name, not just the letter as that could cause confusion. Mexican Pastries should not be split up on top and bottom I think its causing a disconnection where there doesn't need to be one. I love the little pastrie icons, maybe focus more on those and get the wording correct but highlight the actual icons?

I think the design portion of the logo is really great, could potentially be even simplified more without the super fine line weights just for overall readability when its scaled down the crosses are hard to see so you might just eliminate them as a whole. Additionally, I think the font choice could be thought out a little bit better!

Velvet Static is an up-and-coming indie rock band known for their ethereal vocals, nostalgic synths, and moody guitar riffs. Their sound blends the dreamy ambiance of the '80s with a modern alt-rock edge. I was tasked to design a poster promoting their upcoming show in Portland!
Wow, how cool. The colors blend together, the darkness is so cool. This is good, my friend.

Tried to focus more on the target audience and what a young child might be attracted to when looking for books in a library. I played with a few crayon fonts and different color variations that can change depending on the instance! Let me know what you think :)
Providing attractive colors. It is very cute and suitable for children.

I like it a lot and the font I feel is just right, but the colors are a bit muted, I think it would look great with some more vibrant colors.
