Dear Shonna, I have recently started delving into logo design. Upon coming across your logo creation offer, I promptly agreed to take on the project. While the design may appear simplistic, there are specific elements I would like to elaborate on regarding the symbolism behind this logo. The barbell featured in the design is subtly curved to mimic the letter H, with the letters U and K positioned below to form the word HUK, aligning with the name of your gym. I hope this explanation piques your interest!
I think that is not look like an abstract mark and it's too much texture your design

The texture that you put in adds so much to your design, although the logo doesn't seem "abstract" to me. But the color choice makes it elegant-looking.
