Colors come from my idea of a classic sponge cake with pink icing. The font styles reflect the elegance and charm of Paris, since the client mentioned studying there. She requested graphics that relate to the cause which is quite difficult for world hunger while keeping the poster "pretty" and "happy" but this simple image is powerful in that regard. The circular elements are for not, i just love circles. Thank you for viewing! ♡
The color palette you used does remind me of a sponge cake with pink icing. Instead of curving assortments and details, I suggest aligning them straight across with an underline.
Hello! I really enjoyed the soft pastel borders as well the sponge cake theming to convey a bake sale. It’s evident upon first glance that this poster is for a bake sale which is really good. However, I’d note that “the cause” was lost upon. I’d maybe make the reason for the bake sale more relevant. Motifs such as the earth can be rendered on a pastel way to still be cohesive (or another symbol of your choice). I’d also say there are moments when the graphic feels disjointed, specifically because of font sizing, color, and spacing. Overall, I’m enjoying your pastel Paris bake sale poster and would love to see it expanded upon. Great work!
The poster captures the brief really well. The color palette feels exactly like a classic sponge cake with pink icing—warm, soft, and inviting. The mix of fonts brings out a Parisian elegance that fits the theme beautifully, and the light illustrations around the edges keep things cheerful without taking away from the message. The small hand graphic is a nice touch; it subtly conveys compassion and generosity in a simple way that doesn’t feel heavy-handed.
If anything, I’d suggest a few small adjustments. The title could use a little breathing room—“Olivia Hyland” and “Bake Sale” are lovely together, but giving them more separation would make it easier to read. The details section feels a bit empty, so even placeholder text would help balance the layout. Increasing the contrast of the lighter purple text would also make it easier on the eyes. Finally, adding a short line that ties the cause and the event together, maybe something like “Sweet treats for a sweeter world,” could gently strengthen the emotional connection.
Overall, it’s elegant, lighthearted, and sincere—a design that feels both beautiful and kind, just like the idea behind it.
